CartoVista Version 2.0 introduces a new concept of features classes within a map layer.

Each feature within a map layer can be assigned to classes. Each class is identified with its own name and controls the display, labeling and opacity of its map features. The classes are displayed for each layer in the layer control and each can be turned on or off. This function allows users to filter specific types of features from a layer.
