The CartoVista Publisher is a desktop windows application that allows content managers to create and maintain all the maps and data to be displayed within the CartoVista Viewer.
The CartoVista Publisher builds maps by reading common GIS data (e.g. ESRI Shape Files, MapInfo tables, etc.).
The following standard GIS layer types are supported:
When publishing a map, GIS data is converted to an Adobe Flash (SWF) output for the CartoVista Viewer. The flash output is optimized for the web in terms of size, rendering speed and graphic quality.
The CartoVista publisher includes advanced tools to build your maps and set their styles with proper cartographic representation. It includes many options to help you build atlas-quality outputs and manage the look and feel of your maps.
The CartoVista publisher includes a comprehensive map layer settings control to set the rendering of your map features. Re-usable style and map file libraries allow you to setup templates that can be used to quickly publish relevant data for your business.

The CartoVista Publisher features the ability to generate indicators from existing data (Excel spreadsheets, CSV files, Microsoft Access, etc.) for display in the CartoVista Viewer. Once attached to a vector layer in a map, the indicator data can be displayed as a thematic analysis in the CartoVista Viewer.

The publisher includes a user-friendly data publisher to setup an unlimited number of indicators, organized into categories, for a well defined, rich statistical analysis experience.
The CartoVista Publisher also includes a configuration dialog that helps the end user configure the CartoVista Viewer.
