The publishing module available with CartoVista 2.0 allows content managers
to handle the publishing of their maps and data for display in a CartoVista
application. The CartoVista Publisher offers rich and easy-to-use features
targeted to developers, GIS users and cartographers.
In summary, the CartoVista Publisher is a desktop application allowing
users to handle the following tasks:
• Prepare high quality maps from GIS files in MapInfo (.TAB) or ESRI
(Shape) format, without the need of using GIS software.
• Manage map layers styles and labelling with the advanced Style Manager,
which natively includes a library of reusable colors and mapping symbols.
• Prepare the indicators publishing from an Excel spreadsheet or a CSV
file.
• Configure the CartoVista output to visualise maps locally or on a
web server.
